    The Private Game Reserve is home to an impressive array of fauna species. Guests can expect to encounter over 70 different mammals like lion, leopard, cheetah, wild dog, elephant, buffalo, rhino, honey badgers, mongoose, bushbuck and duiker. Twitchers will be delighted with the more than 450 recorded bird species, making the reserve one of the best spots to scan the skies for the feathered kind.

    Game viewing at Manyoni Private Game Reserve is best between August and October when there is a respite from the heat, and the bush opens up. During the height of summer, from November till February, visitors will experience very hot and humid conditions.

    Guided game drives in equipped safari vehicles are part of the activities on offer at the Game Reserve. Guests can also visit the Zululand Rhino Orphanage to get a glimpse into the care and rehabilitation of orphaned rhino calves. There is also the opportunity to visit the Mandlakazi Tribal Land to experience the local Zulu culture.
