Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park is located along the Zambezi River and borders the city of Livingstone. The National Park—the smallest park in Zambia and a UNESCO World Heritage Site—consists of two parts: the Victoria Falls World Heritage National Monument Site and Mosi-oa-Tunya Game Park. The Park only spans about 16,000 acres and was established in 1972 to represent the wildlife species of Zambia.

Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park is nestled on the banks of the upper Zambezi and is defined by the impressive natural wonders around it. The National Park stretches from the Batoka Gorge and snakes for approximately 12 kilometres along the Zambezi, just above Victoria Falls. Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park is home to a variety of wildlife including the white rhino, which is rarely found in other Zambian national parks. Local attractions in and around the National Park include the mighty Victoria Falls, the Zambezi River, Thorn Tree River Lodge, and the Old Drift Crossing Point.

Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park is located about 11 kilometres from Livingstone, while Lusaka is approximately 480 kilometres away. Kenneth Kaunda International Airport in Lusaka has domestic flights to Livingstone Airport, which makes Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park easily accessible. Those wanting to drive can do so with ease.
